Over the last three years, United Way funded agencies and other non-profit service providers have had the opportunity to take part in one of a number of three-day training workshops delivered by the Centre for Community Based Research.
Expert trainers helped participants to understand more about outcome evaluation and worked with them to develop evaluation materials based on real-life examples from their own agencies. Individual consultation was also available to all United Way agencies that participated.
As the initiative moved forward, agencies had the chance to come together to share their results and to discuss challenges and lessons learned.
