Western makes record-breaking United Way Campaign donation of $590,383.
With the help of Western’s cheerleaders, University President Amit Chakma presented United Way’s CEO Andrew Lockie with its 2009 workplace donation – a record–breaking $590,383.
“Western’s commitment to our community is reflected in their exceptional United Way campaign,” says United Way’s CEO Andrew Lockie. “The generosity of their faculty, staff, and students is extraordinary; the dollars raised will have great impact in creating lasting change in London and Middlesex."
Since 1994, Western’s faculty, staff, retirees and students have raised more than $6.3 million for United Way of London & Middlesex.
