GenNext
In the spring of 2008, United Way of London & Middlesex launched
GenNext, an initiative to engage young people in their 20s and 30s to be more actively involved in shaping our community. GenNext’s mission is to mobilize our generation to make a positive impact in our own community through awareness, involvement and giving.
We aim to build relevant, innovative and compassionate connections that ensure the next generation of leaders are engaged in our community through giving, volunteering and action.
A dynamic GenNext Cabinet of volunteers is leading this exciting work. Our goal is to inform young GenNexters about their community, link them to issues related to poverty, mental health and beginnings & transitions and connect them with volunteer opportunities that match their interests and ignite their passions.
