GenNext
In the spring of 2008, United Way of London & Middlesex launched
GenNext, an initiative to engage young people in their 20s and 30s to be more actively involved in shaping our community. GenNext’s mission is to mobilize our generation to make a positive impact in our own community through awareness, involvement and giving.
We aim to build relevant, innovative and compassionate connections that ensure the next generation of leaders are engaged and remain engaged in their communities through United Way.
A dynamic GenNext Advisory Committee of volunteers has been struck to lead this exciting work. Our goal is to inform young people in our community (GenNexters) about their community, link them to social issues that interest them and connect them with charitable organizations and activities that match their interests and ignite their passions.
