About Campaign

Led by the volunteer Campaign Cabinet, United Way runs the single largest annual community fundraising campaign in London and Middlesex County.

Our 2009 Campaign goal is $7.4 million.

In 2008, we raised more than $7.3 million for our community. Of these dollars, employee donations in the workplace campaigns accounted for 62%; 20% came from corporate donations; 9% came from individuals through our direct mail campaign; and 9% came from special events.

Thank you to all of you for your generosity. Because of you, we are creating real change in people's lives and in our community.

Why an annual Campaign?
Needs in London and Middlesex County are significant, making it challenging to know where program dollars will have the greatest impact. Using research and community consultations, United Way takes a planned approach to allocating funds to social services that make a difference for people in the community. As the largest non-government funder of social services in this community, United Way is committed to changing people's lives and making London and Middlesex County better for everyone.
